Pear crumble

Pear crumble




Preparation time: 35mins
Cooking time: 35mins

Ingredients for 6 people:

- 200g of chocolate
- 6 pears
- 200g of flour
- 100g of butter
- 100g + 20g of light brown sugar
- juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 vanilla pod
- 1 tsp of cinnamon

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 5).
2. Cut the butter into pieces and leave to soften.
3. With a knife, on a chopping board, break up the chocolate to obtain chips.
4. Peel and core the pears and cut into cubes, put them in a gratin dish and pour over the lemon juice, add 20g of light brown sugar and mix together well.
5. Split the vanilla pod in two and scrap out the seeds to flavour the pears.
6. Add the flour, cinnamon, 100g of light brown sugar and the chocolate chips to the butter, mix together to obtain a mixture with the consistency of breadcrumbs.
7. Spread the crumble over the pears and place in the oven for 35mins.
8. Serve warm.
